This series offers PlayShops from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on three Fridays this fall: September 18, October 30, and November 13. Mixed-media artist Molly will be joining us for each of these sessions. Group size will be limited to five participants.
Molly will be joining us for every Rock'n Raccoon session this fall and winter, bringing work that threads through sculpture, jewelry, collage, and reclaimed materials.
I transform discarded, natural, and personally meaningful materials into objects that explore identity, memory, culture, and renewal. Moving between sculpture, jewelry, collage, fashion, and digital fabrication, I follow what each material suggests — preserving a stone's natural character, uncovering stories within discarded imagery, or giving overlooked materials new purpose. My work reflects my own process of rebuilding an identity beyond motherhood, survival, and the expectations of others, while inviting anyone who feels disconnected from themselves, their history, or the world around them to consider what can be reclaimed and remade.
Financial accessibility and long-term program sustainability — including access to quality art materials and supplies — are values this offering tries to hold in balance. A three-tiered pricing structure honors individual differences in income, and a scholarship program is available for those who struggle to meet their basic needs.
This rate is deeply appreciated, as it provides a full scholarship for someone who otherwise could not afford to attend the Fall PlayShop Series.
This is our standard rate, covering the operating costs of the Fall PlayShop Series for each participant.
This rate covers only the cost of materials and supplies, and any fees paid to artists in residence.
The series continues into winter on three more Fridays: November 20, December 11, and December 18 — same hours, same format, with Molly joining us for each session as well. Group size will be limited to five participants.

Because groups are small and seasons are short, every participant's presence matters — both to the experience of the group and to the sustainability of keeping this program affordable. For that reason, club dues are non-refundable once a spot is reserved with your deposit, and the remaining balance is due no later than two weeks before the series begins. If you need to cancel, your dues can be applied to a future PlayShop Series instead. This isn't a policy I take lightly; it reflects the depth of commitment I bring to the container we're building together, and I hope families will feel called to meet it with the same care.
